Polly Browne, an English heiress, attending Mme. Dubonnet's finishing school meets Tony, who is of noble lineage but posing as a delivery boy. They fall in love but have a misunderstanding and then are finally happily reuinited at the Carnival Ball dressed as Pierrette and Pierrot.
